What's a really good movie you'd recommend that most people probably haven't seen?
by A.Fenderson inwhat's a really good movie you'd recommend that most people probably haven't seen?.
my personal recommendation: synecdoche, new york.
it's one of those movies that words fail utterly to capture--which really is the hallmark of a good movie, i suppose.

This is what confuses me. If God is perfect and he created man and angels and they turned away doesn't that make him imperfect, and don't give me that freewill shit either. Perfect means PERFECT. George Carlin said it best about God and his creation, "If this is God's best work, (looking at the world today) I'm not Fkin' impressed" And the arguement of why he didn't destroy Satan at the beginning (So no one could ever question his judgement again) means he EXPECTED TO BE CHALLENGED AGAIN.... IMPERFECT!! Does this make sence or am I just to Bitter?

I know lots have family inside still, so I guess I can kinda understand. My Mom left before me but she was never really into it so it was no big deal to her. Since I wasn't really raised in the truth my family dealt with things different, didn't take shit, when shit on. All those years I bit my lip, let them humiliate me, ect. I prayed not to feel the way I did inside, I needed that new personality. I spoke my mind at times and payed for it. Dad was never in, he just tolerated it. It is scary how your are like your family even if you try different. I have tried to tell my wife some of the experiences I encountered, and she doesn't understand why I let it happen. This board is great because everyone here understands. When I left ... I LEFT. Since I have left any Elder who has tried to contact me is dealt with swiftly. Any MS is dealt with the same. I have bumped into some old brothers and sisters I knew from different halls and have been polite, had a nice talk, they know there is no changing me now. I have never been DF'd or anything like that as far as I know. I wouldn't waste my time or paper to write a letter saying to remove me as a JW. So I could care less if I dropped to many hints of my past that it might out me. Blondie said it best "It's not a good idea to post your real name on any website; too many crazy people online." If it weren't for that, you would all know my real name and where I live (I'm from Ma. USA) My ex said "you still think your going to the new system don't you?" I made it clear to her right there how I felt about Jah. and his BORG. So as I said at the beginning of this post I know lots have family inside still, so I guess I can kinda understand. It is so much better when you don't a shit what any Elder or brother or sister, see or hear about you. It looks like we have only 1 life my friends, don't waste it living lies or in secret. ENJOY IT........ you don't another chance.

St. Victor of Python
And it came to pass that Saint Victor was taken from this place
to another place, where he was lain to rest himself amongst sheets
of muslin and velvet.
And there stroked was he by maidens of the Orient.
For sixteen days and nights stroked they him, yea verily and
caressed him.
His hair, ruffled they. And their fingers rubbethed they in oil
of olives, and ranneth them across all parts of his body for as much
as to soothe him.
And the soles of his feet licked they. And the upper parts of
his thigh did they anoint with the balm of forbidden trees.
And with the teeth of their mouths, nibbled they the pointed
bits at the top of his ears. Yea verily, and did their tongues
thereof make themselves acquainted with his most secret places.
For fifteen days and nights did Victor withstand these maidens,
until he cried out, saying:
"This...is fantastic! Oh...this is *terrific!!*"
And the Lord did here the cry of Victor. And verily came He down
and slew the maidens. And caused their cottonwool bugs to blow away,
and their Kleenex to be laid waste utterly.
And Victor, in his anguish, cried out that the Lord was a rotten
bastard.
So the Lord sent an angel to comfort Victor for the weekend.
And entered they together the jaccuzzi.
Here endeth the lesson. -
